Please bring your own apron and wear something that you don’t mind getting dirty (sometimes absolutely covered in clay). Short nails are better and if you have long hair, tying it back is advisable. If you are going on the wheel, we recommend a teatowel too.
-
Whilst we are based in the garden, have no fear. We have doors on the studio to enclose the studio during the colder months. The kiln keeps the space toasty too.
-
We supply all the tools you need, but feel free to bring your own (we advise labelling so it doesn’t get mixed up).
-
We provide clay. For taster classes and workshops, all your material fees are included.
For courses, there is a small firing fee. This is to cover the costs of the two kiln firings and glaze material.
-
Believe it or not, there is gambit of types of clay! Each with their own firing ranges. For these reasons, it is paramount that people do not bring their own clay into the studio. Please only use the clay provided.
-
At present, we currently do not offer firing services. However, this is a something we hope to offer in the future…
-
If you are running late to a taster class, please do let us know so we can accommodate you and the rest off the class.
However, if you are very very late to a class or do not show up, we are unable to rebook your class at a later date.
-
We recognise that from time to time, you might miss a class in the course. We are not able to refund missed classes, however we do our best to make the time back to you.
You can make up the time for 1 missed session in your pottery course
It’s just the time, there’s no tuition
This can be done in weekday independent practice only, NOT weekend sessions *
Missed classes being made up must be redeemed within 2 months of finishing the course (spaces subject to availability)
Please email us to book you in. Unfortunately, if these conditions are not met, the time will have been lost.
-
Taster classes, workshops and courses are non-refundable.
However, you are able to exchange the date to an equivalent class. For taster classes and one-off workshops, you can exchange the date up until 3 weeks before the initial date of the class. For workshop series (more than one class) or courses, we require 4 weeks notice so that we can fill the spot on that course.
For more information cancellation, please read our T&Cs.

Sadly, we do not have wheelchair access at the moment, but this is something we are looking to develop in the future.
